Fleshly Sin Dies in the Lights
THE WORD
“Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.” - James 5:16
Sin dies in the light.
THE FIGHT
Flesh wars daily—wrath, lust, idleness. It’s choking your soul. The enemy thrives when you hide it.
{TODAY”S DIRECTIVE} 97 words)
We’ve all got filth we wrestle—anger, lust, sloth…and it’s choking you spiritually.
As a follower of Christ, it’s a shameful blemish on your Christian testimony. You understand this because it’s lurking in the back of your mind, “This doesn’t feel right”
That’s because it’s not. And you need to be honest with yourself.
Otherwise you’ll continue on thinking it’ll be fine, when it won’t be fine. Give that sin up, uproot it out of your life.
Today, pick one sin and crush it. Confess when you fail—God’s grace is readily available ONLY when you decide to repent.
But take joy in the progress you achieved.
I’ve been there—shame’s heavy, but victory’s sweeter.
James 5:16 says confess and heal. Track daily wins. Build a streak. You’re not some victim; you’re a soldier.
You need to Kill what’s killing you. The faithful don’t cower—they conquer.
